Heavy-hitters from Audi, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari and Lamborghini will need to keep one eye over their shoulder throughout the Armor All 12 Hour Bathurst race igniting in three weeks’ time.
With an already formidable looking starting grid, a plucky little Lotus entered in Class C (GT4) is shaping up as a potential dark horse thanks to Formula One driving Austrian whiz Christian Klien.
The 28-year-old veteran of 51 Grand Prix races – with manufacturers Jaguar, Red Bull and Hispania – will join forces with Planbuild’s very own Rob Thomson and Sarah Harley, pitting themselves against the crème of Formula One constructor’s champions.
The eclectic mix of drivers will take on the 6.2km circuit in Thomson’ Queenslandhouseandland.com Lotus Exige S – a veteran car of three Armor All 12 Hour Bathurst races.
